About the Role: Lancashire County Council is seeking a dedicated and experienced Qualified Social Worker to join our Learning Disability and Autism Team

Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver a professional social work service in line with statutory responsibilities and organizational policies.
* Promote independence and recovery through strengths-based and outcome-focused service delivery.
* Collaborate with other professionals and agencies to address complex needs and achieve optimal outcomes for individuals and their carers.
* Conduct high-quality assessments and develop support plans in consultation with service users and their carers.
* Ensure safe and timely discharges from hospital settings, supporting individual choice and independence.
* Utilize personal budgets creatively and flexibly to meet the needs of service users and their carers.
* Maintain accurate records using electronic systems and contribute to team initiatives and service development.
* Support and mentor newly qualified or less experienced staff and students.
* Participate in continuous professional development and maintain emotional resilience and professional wellbeing.
Person Specification:
* Qualifications: SW, CSS, DipSW, or Social Work Degree; current Social Work England registration.
* Experience: Accepting referrals, assessing needs, managing caseloads, and working in social services or similar settings.
* Skills and Abilities: Knowledge of relevant legislation, effective communication, IT literacy, organizational skills, and the ability to work independently under pressure.
