A specialist SEN school in Peterlee is seeking an SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils with Autism Spectrum Condition and communication needs.

Main Responsibilities:
* Supporting pupils within lessons and structured activities
* Encouraging communication and independence
* Supporting sensory regulation strategies
* Assisting with emotional and behavioural support
* Working collaboratively with the wider SEN team
The successful candidate will:
* Have SEN or care experience desirable
* Be patient, adaptable and resilient
* Have strong interpersonal skills
* Be passionate about supporting children with Autism

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
