We are recruiting for a Measurement Quantity Surveyor to join us here at Octavius and support the asset maintenance of clients within our Rail business. This role focuses on Reactive Maintenance.

What the roles involve:
This role focuses on maintenance measurement, working closely with the maintenance team. You will be responsible for schedules of rates measurement, desktop measurement, and administrative tasks. The role involves consistent and detailed work, ensuring accurate measurements and supporting the commercial aspects of reactive maintenance.
This is a hybrid position with weekly travel to Reigate and occasional site visits.

A team of highly motivated, dedicated professionals delivering projects across a variety of frameworks with clients such as Network Rail and other key stakeholders.

About you:
You are a Quantity Surveyor, or experienced Assistant Quantity Surveyor, preferably with a background in rail, highways, water, or housing. You are proficient in schedules of rates measurement.
You'll bring:
* A degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related course (or equivalent qualification/relevant experience).
* Professional membership with a recognised and relevant Professional body (desirable).
* Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage conflicting priorities.
* Strong relationship-building skills and the ability to communicate and influence at all levels.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills with clients, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.
* Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
