Junior UX Researcher - Manchester
Please note that this is a Manchester based role and our current hybrid working arrangement is Tuesday’s and Thursday’s in the office.

Our Role
As a Junior UX Researcher you will be involved in the definition of user journeys, taxonomy, navigation and business/user processes for our leading-edge digital solutions. You will work on a wide range of digital solutions and assist in the development of multi-channel user journeys and user research programmes. You will embrace user-centred design methodologies to translate user needs, context of use, business objectives and technology capabilities into an optimal experience for our target audiences, and continually learn and develop your skills in all areas of UX strategy. From day one you will work with and support the wider UX and UI Team (and CX team) on key pieces of client work, gaining exposure to different types of projects and working with different disciplines.
What you can expect to be doing:
* Have a clear understanding of the importance of user experience and it's position within the CX and strategic funnel
* Understand how UX plays into creative decisioning, the customer experience, and driving conversion across our online and offline assets
* Demonstrate a clear understanding of basic UX principles and heuristics
* Have an understanding of the brands we work on and the role that UX plays in supporting business objectives
* Understand the value of best-in-class UI design, consistency and design systems to organise and standardise experience
* Support in the development of a range of assets during project definition and implementation, such as user journeys, process flows, user stories, sitemaps and so on
· Taking ownership of any work completed to ensure it meets deadline, is of high quality, accurate, and shows attention to detail
· Make
sure that you clearly understand the brief for any work you are producing,
refer to it regularly and ask questions when appropriate
· Understand the relevant agency UX and UI tools, and be able to apply the ones you use regularly
· Keep
up to date with relevant industry advancements and contribute to sharing these
to the team
