The diversity of our talents is what makes our work environment multicultural, innovative and highly rewarding.The Supply Chain Manager for Japan is responsible for leading end-to-end supply chain operations, ensuring alignment with commercial objectives, regulatory compliance, and operational excellence. This role drives strategic initiatives across demand planning, logistics, customer service, and cost optimization, while fostering a culture of agility and continuous improvement.* Lead the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process in collaboration with Sales, Marketing, and Finance to ensure accurate forecasting and inventory alignment* Manage demand and supply planning to maintain optimal stock levels and minimize write-offs* Oversee logistics operations, including transportation, warehousing, and last-mile delivery, ensuring On Time In Full (OTIF) performance* Ensure compliance with Japanese customs and logistics regulations, including documentation, import/export procedures, and Free Trade Agreement (FTA) utilization* Coordinate with third-party logistics providers (3PLs) and customs brokers for timely cargo release and damage claims* Support new product launches (NPD) and ensure supply readiness in alignment with marketing and commercial plans* Drive cost optimization across warehousing, transportation, and packaging materials* Lead order-to-cash processes, ensuring accurate invoicing, credit/debit note issuance, and SAP system integrity* Implement digital tools and automation to enhance supply chain visibility and responsiveness* Collaborate with regional and global teams to align on strategic priorities and share best practices* Develop and coach the local supply chain team, fostering a high-performance and inclusive culture* University degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, or a related field* Strong relevant experience in supply chain management, preferably in FMCG or consumer goods* Understanding of Japan’s logistics landscape, customs regulations, and local warehousing practices; familiarity with Japanese labor regulations relevant to logistics is a plus* Experience with triangulation flows and Asia-Pacific regional supply chain operations is preferred* Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage external partnerships* Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management capabilities* Experience in digital transformation or process automation is an advantage* Exposure to sustainability initiatives in supply chain (e.g., green logistics, waste reduction) is desirable* Proficiency with MS Office tools, experience with SAP (ECC/APO), Power BI, and supply chain planning tools* Fluency in Japanese and English, both written and spoken##### 1.
