What you'll do at work
This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual looking to start their career in warehousing and logistics. As an Apprentice Warehouse Operative, you'll learn all aspects of warehouse operations, including:
* Preparing and parcelling goods for despatch
* Creating address and product labels using Microsoft Word
* Communicating with the Sales Office team
* Completing and updating carrier paperwork and systems
* Receiving, unpacking, and checking incoming goods
* Assisting with goods deliveries using the company van (depending on candidate age/drivers licence status)
* Taking part in annual stock checks
* Basic forklift operation (training provided depending on age)
* Picking orders by priority and updating associated paperwork
