Role Overview: You will lead and manage a team dedicated to delivering high-quality account management for assigned customer accounts. This includes overseeing the preparation of major bids and proposals, developing pricing strategies, and managing contractual terms and conditions. A key aspect of the role involves conducting complex negotiations, ensuring effective contract administration, and cultivating strong senior-level relationships with clients. You’ll play a vital role in building and maintaining mutually beneficial partnerships with customers throughout the APAC region. The position requires flexibility for business travel within the UK and internationally as needed. Experience: Extensive Commercial & Contract Expertise: In-depth knowledge of commercial and contractual processes within the aerospace and defence sector, including procurement practices, contract structuring, terms and conditions, bid and proposal management, pricing strategies, currency exchange and hedging, financial guarantees, banking instruments, export control regulations, and international shipping terms. Proven Leadership & People Management: Demonstrated ability to lead and develop high-performing teams, with a strong track record of driving commercial success. Committed to coaching, mentoring, and motivating direct reports to achieve optimal outcomes. Regional Experience & Negotiation Skills: Skilled in managing complex contract negotiations across the APAC region, with a strong understanding of regional business practices. Experienced in building and maintaining strategic customer relationships. Exceptional Communication & Presentation Abilities: Confident and articulate communicator, capable of delivering compelling presentations and fostering clear, effective dialogue with stakeholders at all levels.
