Applications are welcome for the above Fixed Term - 1 year, full time (40 hours per week) post based in Western General Hospital.
This advanced clinical fellowship post is intended for advanced gastroenterology trainees who have completed their basic gastroenterology training and have an interest in inflammatory bowel disease.
Clinical contribution to outpatient clinics (GI and IBD clinics), endoscopy and the IBD multidisciplinary meeting will be expected. Input in to the care of ward patients may also be required. The research time will focus on inflammatory bowel disease. Biologic and small molecule, epidemiology, clinical IBD and data science projects are possible. In addition to this there will be opportunity to participate in clinical trials in the department.
The post is usually available for one year but can be extended.
