Pay: £20,800.00 per year Job description: Job Purpose: Through work experience, studying, coaching, training and development (both practical and vocational) complete a course of study and obtain work related professional qualifications. Carry out the role of Electrical Maintenance Engineer competently and effectively within a pre-determined time frame. Level 3 Mechatronics Maintenance Technician course at West Suffolk College Job Context: Reporting directly to the Engineering Manager, the job holder will work closely with the Operations, Health and Safety, and Technical Departments as part of the Engineering function. Jobs Dimension Technical Skills · Able to carry out a variety of technical duties related to the role, competently and efficiently with training and/or support as appropriate · Demonstrates a logical and practical approach to tasks · Take opportunities to learn new technical skills · Putting job learning into practice at work · Gains experience and qualifications to improve technical competence · Takes on additional responsibilities once suitably qualified and/or trained · Ability to solve problems Site Service · To always deliver the best possible standards to our customers by never compromising on quality, feed safety and health and safety and being aware of the environmental impact of our activities. · Undertakes all tasks willingly, prepared to go the extra mile · Completes all tasks, including paperwork accurately and to a high standard and on time · Always demonstrates a professional attitude and approach · Take pride in their appearance and maintain a high standard of time keeping and attendance · Always Ensures own and others Health & Safety · Use your own initiative where appropriate · Take responsibility for planning and organising your own work where appropriate KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES: · To undertake a range of tasks suited to the current level of training and development · To attend college and complete course work on time and to a high standard · To produce, maintain and be responsible for content, accuracy and sign off relevant documentation · To take on additional responsibility in Years 3 & 4 of Apprenticeship · To understand and complete all work-related documentation accurately and on time · To understand and comply with all aspects of Company policies and procedures · To carry out work in a safe and diligent manner · To comply with all Health & Safety policies and procedures · To attend and fully participate in regular training and development reviews with your Supervisor, Site Engineering Manager, college tutors and HR representatives To undertake additional duties in line with capabilities as required Requirements, Experience and Person Specification: Preferred Qualifications Educated to GCSE or equivalent or working towards obtaining this standard and above.
