About The Role
In your role as a Painter & Decorator at HC-One, you will undertake painting and decorating duties to present the homes to the highest standards, helping HC-One become the First Choice Care Home in the community. You will maintain a clean, safe, and homely environment to meet the needs of Residents and Colleagues. Flexibility and responsiveness to the changing needs of the Homes are essential.
You will report immediately to the Home Manager or Person in Charge any illness of an infectious nature or accidents involving Residents, Colleagues, yourself, or others. You must understand and ensure the implementation of the Care Home’s Health and Safety policies, including Emergency and Fire procedures.

You will complete mandatory and role-specific training to maintain and update your professional knowledge and competence.
Safeguarding is everyone's responsibility. You should be able to recognize signs of abuse, harm, or neglect and know the procedures for reporting concerns. Attendance at safeguarding training and additional role-related training is required, along with the ability to seek advice and escalate concerns when necessary.
