Visitor Services Volunteer
This exciting opportunity is perfect for anyone interested in improving their public speaking skills and knowledge of history. As a Visitor Services volunteer, you will:
1. Guide tours of our attractions, including the working triple expansion steam engine, the 1920s shipyard workers' tenement flat in Irvine, or the Denny Ship Model Experiment Tank in Dumbarton.
2. Explain exhibits and answer visitor questions around the museum buildings.
3. Assist in our annual events such as Pirate Days, Halloween, and more.
Volunteers aged 12-25 participating in this role are eligible to claim Saltire Awards hours. Find out more
