Location: Worksop
Salary: £27,626 per annum + benefits

Overview
Our client is an outstanding education and training provider. They are looking to recruit highly motivated, innovative and dynamic individuals to join their teams. The role will work closely with curriculum staff to facilitate learning workshops and support learners to achieve the best outcomes in maths and English.
Responsibilities
 * Drive individual learner progress in English and/or Maths skills through facilitated workshops and other support contexts, ensuring consistent improvement against starting points.
 * Provide ongoing support to students through approved support plans.
 * Facilitate group learning and classroom activities as part of the wider cross‑college team.
 * Collaborate with cross‑college staff such as the Vocational, Quality, Additional Learning Support, Exams, and Library teams.
Working Pattern
08:30 – 17:00 Thursday
08:30 – 16:30 Friday
Skills & Qualifications
 * Experience working with young people, understanding learning barriers affecting achievement.
 * Operational delivery experience with effective planning and monitoring of performance against action plans and targets for young people within education.
 * Coaching/mentoring skills and experience facilitating group learning such as workshops or classroom sessions.
 * Level 2 (or equivalent) qualification in English and Maths (or higher in one or both specialisms).
 * Desirable: recognised teaching qualification, recent CPD evidence, degree-level qualification, and online learning certification (e.g., Google Certified Educator).
 * Ability to support both English and Maths.
Department Info
Based at an assigned campus and line managed by the Campus Maths and English Deputy Head of Department. Part of the cross‑college maths and English team.
