With over 40 years of experience supporting clients across the Bath and Bristol area, this small but dedicated team is offering a rare opportunity for a Corporate Tax Accountant to join their close-knit firm.
The role involves a blend of corporate tax responsibilities and accounts preparation for limited companies, offering you the chance to manage a diverse portfolio of clients, build lasting relationships, and take real ownership of your work.
Key Responsibilities:
* Prepare and submit company accounts, corporation tax returns, and tax computations
* Conduct company secretarial work and compliance, including:
* Company incorporations with Companies House
* Submission of CS01, DS01, CT61, and ATED returns
* Prepare and submit quarterly VAT returns
* Liaise with HMRC and other relevant authorities
* Confidently use platforms such as QuickBooks, Xero, and Hubdoc
Skills & Experience:
* ATT or AAT qualified, or equivalent experience
* Minimum 2-3 years of corporate tax and general accountancy experience
* Solid knowledge of UK tax legislation and compliance requirements
* Comfortable managing multiple client accounts and deadlines
