Midlands ETS has been providing Education and Employment services to young people aged 16 to 24 in Birmingham for the last 14 years. Our centre is based at the Enterprise Centre in Chelmsley Wood and deliver a Study Programme, Apprenticeships and Employment programmes.

This role will mainly be based in the Centre, but some of the role will be able to be completed working from home.

Job Summary:

We are currently seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable qualified Assessor/IQA who is able to deliver Level 3 Early Years Educator, Level 2 & 3 Adult Health & Social Care and Level 3 Business Administration. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality training and assessment in these qualifications and also support the Centre with their Internal Quality Assurance, in order to meet both Ofsted and Awarding Body requirements. This role involves teaching theory, conducting practical assessments, and providing support to learners to help them achieve their qualifications.

The successful applicant will need to:

1. delivering engaging and effective training sessions in Early Years, Health & Social Care and Business Administration
2. Develop and update course materials, lesson plans, and assessment tools
3. Assess students' work, providing constructive feedback and support to enhance their learning experience.
4. Provide one-on-one support and guidance to learners, to help them achieve their qualifications
5. Monitor student progress and adapt teaching methods to meet diverse learning needs
6. Ensure that all training and assessment activities meet regulatory and quality standards
7. Participate in internal and external quality assurance processes.
8. Work closely with colleagues to share best practices and develop the curriculum.
9. Build and maintain relationships with local employers and community organizations.

Whilst the full pay band and salary range is advertised, our approach to starting salaries is to appoint between the minimum to mid-point of the pay band – this ensures that pay steps are available to reward our colleagues annually based on their contribution to excellence and alignment to our values and behaviours.
