Overview
Senior Project Controller - Energy & Power at Jacobs. We are looking for a driven and experienced professional with Senior Project Controller/Commercial/Finance experience to work in our Project Controls Team across a diverse portfolio of projects/frameworks/verticals. You will support key Project Solution colleagues including the Project Solution Lead, MOPs, PC Manager, Commercial Manager and Framework/Project Managers in delivering the best value in our Energy UK and Ireland and Contractor verticals/portfolios.
Responsibilities
* Manage project set up and inception – to ensure correct Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) is set up to enable accurate reporting to the client
* Accurate, robust and transparent Estimates to Completion in IPCS and,
* Accurate Transaction Prices with GM variance commentary in Polaris (RevRec) in line with the regionally set timescales on a monthly basis
* Create and maintain internal status reports capturing, and then monitor, review and communicate to internal management team on Budgets / Actuals / Forecasts / Gross Margin / Contingency and Management Reserve
* Be responsible for adherence to contractual and Jacobs’ invoicing requirements, ensuring that Work in Progress (WIP) is controlled and that an appropriate Days Sales Outstanding (DSO) is maintained
* Support project teams on cash collection activities and lead the commercials on bid submissions working closely with project teams on new opportunities
Qualifications
* Knowledge and practical understanding of Jacobs internal systems and processes including Jacobs Analytics, Polaris, IPCS, Pricing Tool, APAP, Contracts
* Experience working as a Framework/Project Controller/ Commercial/ Financial Analyst on previous projects
* Specific experience in project controls functions, including cost estimating, cost control, change management, risk management, cost analysis, variance analysis
* Ability to lead a team of Project Controllers to respond to dynamic challenges whilst maintaining focus on delivery excellence.
