Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Office Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong organisational skills and have a background in administrative support. This role involves providing essential clerical assistance, managing office tasks, and ensuring smooth daily operations within the office environment.

Responsibilities

* Manage incoming calls and provide excellent phone etiquette to clients and colleagues.
* Perform data entry tasks accurately and efficiently, maintaining up-to-date records.
* Assist with administrative duties including filing, scanning, and document preparation.
* Utilise Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace for various tasks such as creating documents, spreadsheets, and presentations.
* Maintain office supplies inventory and place orders as necessary to ensure the office runs smoothly.
* Support financial record-keeping using QuickBooks for invoicing and expense tracking.
* Organise meetings, including scheduling appointments and preparing meeting materials.
* Collaborate with team members to ensure effective communication and workflow within the office.

Requirements

* Previous office experience is essential, with a focus on administrative roles preferred.
* Proficient computer skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace applications.
* Strong typing skills with attention to detail for data entry tasks.
* Excellent organisational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively in a busy environment.
* Experience with QuickBooks is advantageous but not mandatory.
* Demonstrated clerical experience with an understanding of general office procedures.
* Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, contributing positively to the workplace culture.
