Job Title: Assistant Cafe Manager
We are looking for an Assistant Cafe Manager to assist and deputise for the Catering Manager in the efficient running of the Riverside Café, Green Room, and support the seasonal summer activity on the external Terraces. This role includes running a shift with the support of Supervisors.
Reporting to the Catering Manager, key responsibilities include:
1. Collaborating with Catering Managers to deliver a high-quality food and beverage offering across our venues.
2. Overseeing the Green Room and ensuring standards are monitored.
3. Coaching, training, and developing staff to deliver service in line with agreed standards.
4. Running daily staff briefings to cover the daily menu, offers, service changes, and information sharing.
5. Supervising staff and the day-to-day offer in the Green Room, providing oversight and support where necessary.
To be suitable for this role, you should have:
1. Confident and articulate communication skills with a positive outlook.
2. An exceptional understanding of drinks and alcohol service.
3. Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a busy team in a high sales turnover environment.
4. Excellent communication and relationship-building skills to foster strong links both inside and outside the Company.
This is a full-time, permanent position based in Stratford-upon-Avon. The role involves 40 hours per week, working shifts including evenings and weekends, with 5 days over 7 and 2 days off per week.
