Axcis Education is seeking a confident, experienced, and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant to join a dedicated team in the EN3 area. This rewarding role involves providing high-quality 1:1 support for students with ASD and ADHD, primarily at the primary level. The position will begin after the half-term break.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Provide tailored 1:1 support and mentoring to students with ASD and ADHD.
2. Foster a safe, nurturing, and inclusive learning environment.
3. Assist in implementing Individual Education Plans (IEPs) to support student progress.
Requirements:
1. Previous experience working with children with ASD/ADHD in the UK.
2. Strong understanding of Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).
3. Relevant qualifications are desirable but not essential.
4. Must have an Enhanced Child and Adult DBS, registered on the Update Service.
Hours: 8.20 am to 3.45 pm, full-time Monday to Friday!
