Housing Advice & Homeless Prevention Officer (Hybrid) needed in Uxbridge, £21ph PAYE - RQ1526444
Candidate will be expected to be part of the Housing Options Rough Sleepers Team, completing assessments, and carrying out prevention and relief work, managing a varied caseload. Knowledge of Part VII Housing Act 1996, Homelessness Reduction Act, and other relevant legislation is required, along with experience in homelessness inquiries, casework, and drafting s184 decision letters.
Candidates should demonstrate practical experience in delivering services within a pressurized Housing Options Service and managing multiple demands and pressures.
Flexible working arrangements are available. Candidates should expect to be office-based 50% of the time after completing an office-based induction period, which typically takes two to four weeks depending on competency. Office hours are 9.00am - 5.00pm.
This is a full-time role on a temporary contract basis.
