We are now looking for a highly ambitious National Account Manager to develop strategic partnerships with major operators and foodservice wholesalers while identifying new opportunities for growth.

Role Summary
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Foodservice National Account Manager to manage and grow key accounts across the QSR, pub group and foodservice wholesale channels.
The successful candidate will inherit several prestigious accounts and will be responsible for developing long term commercial partnerships, driving new product listings and identifying opportunities to expand distribution through both operators and foodservice wholesalers.
You will work closely with customers on menu development, new product launches and value added ingredient solutions while collaborating internally with marketing, category insight and supply chain teams.
Key Responsibilities
* Build strong commercial relationships with key decision makers across QSR chains, pub groups and foodservice wholesalers
* Manage and grow an existing portfolio of national foodservice accounts
* Identify and secure new business opportunities within major operators and distributor networks
* Drive New Product Development (NPD) listings through engaging category-led sales presentations
* Work collaboratively with customers on menu innovation and ingredient solutions
* Develop launch plans and commercial activation strategies with key customers
* Partner with foodservice wholesalers to expand distribution and operator penetration
* Deliver compelling food and product presentations supported by category insight and market trends
* Accurately forecast sales at customer and SKU level
* Provide weekly updates to your direct report - SNAM on pipeline, account performance and growth opportunities
* Collaborate internally with marketing, supply chain and product development teams to ensure successful delivery of sales plans
Qualifications
* 3–5 years experience within Foodservice sales, ideally managing national accounts
* Proven relationships with QSR operators, pub groups, casual dining chains or foodservice wholesalers
* Experience selling ingredients or food products into the operator and distributor channel
* Strong understanding of menu development, food trends and the UK eating out market
* Commercially driven with a strong “can-do” attitude
* Highly organised with strong attention to detail
* Passionate about food and building long term customer partnerships
* Degree educated in Business, Marketing or a related discipline (preferred)
* Comfortable working within a small, fast moving team environment
* The role will require the applicant to be office based with regular customer visits
