Job Description
* Solid experience across a broad range of housing & property legal matters including assignment & succession, possession claims, tenancy breaches, non-occupation/subletting, anti-social behaviour, service charge matters/disputes, property disrepair case management, providing legal & commercial client advice on the same.
* Full understanding of the Pre-Action Protocol for Housing Disrepair cases and broader Civil Procedure Rules
* Sound experience in dealing with all aspects of legal disrepair case management up to court attendance & representation.
* Experience in claims settlement and negotiation
* Experience of legal case management in wider housing matters (tenancy breaches, anti-social behaviour and rent arrears plus landlord rights of access).
The Successful Applicant
A successful Housing Solicitor should have:
* Qualified solicitor or legal executive with a minimum of 3 years relevant PQE.
* Significant experience in property law.
* Strong knowledge of housing legislation and regulations.
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
* The ability to work effectively as part of a team.
* A commitment to maintaining high professional standards.
