Job Title: Classroom Facilitator
Area: Rochdale, Manchester
Start Date: September 2025
Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: Competitive £110-£140 per day (dependent on performance, experience and responsibilities)
Working hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 4:00pm

We’re working with a brilliant specialist school that supports students aged 11-19 with a range of complex learning needs, autism, and physical or sensory impairments. The team is warm, welcoming, and focused on creating a safe, inclusive space where students can truly thrive.
We’re looking for a committed Classroom Facilitator to join a supportive specialist school setting where every child is given the opportunity to thrive.
About the role 🎭 Ideal for Performers:
In this role, you’ll bring learning to life by delivering pre-set work in a creative and engaging way-helping every student feel supported, included, and inspired. Working closely with SEN teachers and support staff, you’ll play a key part in creating a calm, positive classroom environment where learners can thrive. Whether it’s sparking curiosity, encouraging progress, or simply bringing a smile to someone’s day, your presence will make a real impact.

2. Resilience, patience, and the ability to stay calm in challenging situations
3. Willingness to learn and adapt-no two days are the same!
4. A passion for making a difference, especially for students who need extra support to succeed
5. An interest in SEN, mental health, or inclusive education (experience is a bonus, not a must)
To be eligible you must:
6. Hold Right to Work in the UK
7. Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service OR be willing to process a new application
8. Provide two professional child related references
This is a full-time position starting in September 2025 (or sooner for the right candidate).
