With a national remit, PLATFORM_ is targeting a portfolio of 5,000 units worth £1bn+ over the next 5 years. This will be done through direct development, joint ventures and forward commitments. Overview of the Role
The Operations & Commercial team of PLATFORM_ is looking to hire an Asset Management Analyst intern to support them with key projects over the next 6 months. The successful candidate will report into the Asset Manager and be given a high level of responsibility and gain great exposure to the senior management team, external parties, and investors. They will play a key role in maximising the value of the current portfolios, as well as shaping the new sites currently under construction.
Principal Responsibilities
· Undertake analysis and prepare reports concerning the performance of the portfolio using Excel data tools, mathematical and statistical functions
· Assist with the financial reporting requirements of the existing portfolio
· Support the day-to-day asset management requirements of the existing portfolio
· Provide ad hoc support to senior team members
· Assist with the analysis and dissemination of internal and external market research
· Undertake analysis of property budgets and performance vs target
· Work with external leasing agents and property management teams
· The role will be based in London and will involve national travel

· Excellent communication skills with fluency in written and spoken English. Other languages not required

Candidate Attributes
· Experienced user of Microsoft Excel and its data and analytical functions
· Relevant university degree and a relevant postgraduate qualification
· Some experience in financial reporting would be advantageous
· Comfortable with processing real estate investment concepts
· Competent user of Microsoft PowerPoint and Word
Selection Process
Applicants will be selected for an initial phone interview, followed by an Excel assessment and an in-person interview with the PLATFORM_ team.
