Rapier Employment is looking to hire a MOT Tester / Vehicle Technician to join a family‑run garage in Steventon, Oxfordshire.
Responsibilities
The role will include vehicle servicing, maintenance, repairs and MOT testing.
Requirements
The successful applicant must be a team player, able to work unsupervised and meet tight deadlines, with great customer‑service skills and at least a Level 3 qualification in automotive repair or equivalent experience. They must have a full UK driving licence and a Level 2 Award in MOT testing.
Work Hours
Full time, Monday to Friday 8:30 am – 5:30 pm with a 1 hr lunch break. Flexible working hours may be considered for the right candidate. The position also requires working every other Saturday morning, with corresponding time off in the week.
Salary and Benefits
Salary ranges £33,000 – £35,000 per annum, depending on qualification and experience.
Benefits include 28 days holiday (including bank holidays) and, after completing the probation period, the opportunity to join the company pension scheme.
