We are recruiting an interesting and varied Accounts Assistant opportunity for a small, friendly and growing accountancy Practice in the Crieff area. We are looking for someone with an appropriate background to suit the current business need - AAT 2 / 3 or equivalent. If you have UK accountancy Practice experience, including supporting owner-managed and small business clients (e.g. FRS 102 for small companies and FRS 105 for micro-entities) that will be a definite advantage. This is an office-based role with hybrid working available after successful completion of probation. You should currently live within reasonable travel distance of Dunfermline. As part of a warm, friendly and supportive team, you’ll provide support to a qualified Accountant, part qualified Accountant, and Partner on a variety of client accounts. To be considered, you will need 3 or 4 years’ + experience ofData processing / input and verification of dataSales and purchase ledgersInvoice, cash and bank reconciliationsAssisting with the preparation of P&LsSelf assessmentsHelping prepare final accountsAssisting with the preparation of payroll runsMaking enquiries with HMRCAd hoc reportingExcel spreadsheetsUse of Xero or similar You must currently hold the right to work in the UK.
