Summerhall Distillery was started in 2013 by founders Marcus Pickering and Matt Gammell, with the vision to open the first gin distillery in Edinburgh in 150 years. Since then, we have become a strong team of fifteen all focused on the mission of distilling, bottling, packing, distributing, selling, and marketing our range of spirits to markets all around the world. Alongside this we have also expanded into the production and bottling of multiple spirits for 3rd party customers.
Summerhall Distillery is looking for a highly motivated and organised Bottling Line Operative to work in our dynamic and fast paced production environment. This position reports directly to the Production Manager. This varied role will involve working to the production plan to ensure continuous supply of products to the required quality standards. While specific training will be provided on the job, any basic mechanical knowledge, bottling or production line experience will be beneficial.

· Basic mechanical knowledge and understanding.
· Must be fluent in English, as our working language is English.
· Must have the legal right to live and work in the United Kingdom.
· Production or bottling line experience.
Core responsibilities.
· Preparation, Bottling, Labelling, Packing a wide range of spirits.
· Operation of the bottling machines
· Operation of the labelling machines
· Final production and packaging of products
· Working with the team to improve processes and feedback as required.
· Completion of SALSA/SDVS compliance paperwork.
Salary: £26,800 per year. - ( will increase after training)

You will be required to get to Royal Elizabeth yard which is not well serviced by any public transport but there is plenty of parking on site.

Monday - Friday : 7.00 am to 3.30 pm
