Contract: Full-time | Initial 3–6 months with potential for extension
Local authority located in Wigan is looking to recruit an experienced Occupational Therapist to join a well structured team.

Main Duties:
1. Experience required working with Adults
2. Reviewing care packages and provision of moving and handling equipment.
3. Complete Care Act assessments
4. Assess individuals and carers with complex needs in the home environment
5. Recommend and coordinate equipment and adaptations
6. Undertake manual handling assessments
7. Work in line with safeguarding procedures, promoting dignity and respect
Requirements:
8. Minimum 2 years post-qualified experience
9. Previous experience as a community-based Occupational Therapist
10. Manual handling expertise
11. HCPC Registration
12. Enhanced DBS/CRB (we can assist)
13. Eligibility to work in the UK
14. Must have own vehicle and full UK driving licence
