The Role – Day-to-Day Duties
* Coordinate and support daily transport operations
* Allocate and despatch drivers in line with delivery schedules
* Debrief drivers post-run and ensure accurate completion of paperwork
* Record and action vehicle defects through compliance systems
* Monitor and report on KPIs, supporting operational improvements
* Ensure all operational processes, safety, and compliance standards are met
* Work closely with management and external partners to deliver service excellence
* Contribute to a positive team culture and maintain high levels of staff engagement
What We Are Looking For
* Previous experience in a transport or logistics environment
* Strong leadership, organisational, and planning skills
* Ability to adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced setting
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Proactive approach to problem-solving and performance improvement
* Confident using Transport Management Systems (TMS) and other relevant tools
