A Day Team Leader at SuperCare provides structure, energy, and leadership in a home where children are active, energetic, and sometimes physically aggressive. You'll make sure routines are consistent, staff feel confident, and children are fully engaged.
You'll balance being hands-on with guiding your team, stepping in during incidents, and ensuring the day flows smoothly. It's a role for someone who is as comfortable running up the stairs to redirect a child as they are sitting down to review a care plan.

Responsibilities
You'll lead your team with energy and focus, ensuring that children's needs are always at the centre of the day.
* Lead day shifts, ensuring routines and strategies are followed.
* Support children with hygiene, education, and active play.
* Guide staff in responding calmly to aggression or property damage.
* Maintain communication with families, schools, and professionals.
* Keep morale strong and ensure the team feels supported.
Requirements
This role calls for someone who is both an active participant and a thoughtful leader, ready to guide others by example.
* At least 3 years in SEN or residential childcare.
* Level 3 Diploma in Children's Care (or equivalent).
* Confident in managing aggression and leading through challenges.
* Energetic, organised, and compassionate.
