Role
Brief Description: Training Centre Administrator - Bristol Parkway Training Centre. Join the Network Rail team as a Training Centre Administrator at Bristol Parkway. This full-time, permanent role ensures the smooth operation of our training facilities, offering exceptional customer service and supporting visitors. A great opportunity to contribute to Network Rail's safety-driven mission.
Responsibilities
* Customer Service: Act as the first point of contact for delegates and visitors, greeting them warmly and addressing inquiries to provide a positive and professional front-of-house experience.
* Safety & Compliance: Conduct regular safety checks and inspections as directed by the Training Delivery Manager to ensure the training centre operates safely and efficiently.
* Financial Management: Manage all transactional financial activities, including assurance procedures, procurement, and expenditure tracking, while supporting the Cost Centre Manager with period reporting.
* Facilities Coordination: Set up training rooms, ensuring all facilities are prepared for upcoming training sessions, meetings, and events to deliver a seamless experience for participants.
* Administrative Support: Provide robust administrative support, including preparing and archiving training packs in compliance with record retention policies. Maintain accurate documentation and databases of training activities.
* Communication & Collaboration: Maintain a consistent telephone presence to support customer service levels. Collaborate with external training providers and visitors, facilitating smooth interactions and delivering clear safety messages.
* Team Support: Provide communication and logistical support to the onsite training team, ensuring the team has adequate resources to perform their duties effectively.
* Flexibility: Occasionally cover activities in other training locations as required to support the team and business needs.
Ideal Candidate
* Strong customer service approach with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail; strong written and verbal communication skills.
* Strong time management, organisation and prioritisation skills and the ability to work under pressure and to deadlines.
* Resilient, adaptable and flexible.
* IT literacy with knowledge of Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
* Experience of working in a fast-moving environment.
* Administrators may occasionally cover activities in other training locations.
