Duties of the Vehicle Damage Assessor:
* Conduct detailed inspections of damaged vehicles to assess repair requirements
* Accurately estimate repair costs, timescales, and document repair methods as a Vehicle Damage Assessor
* Liaise with insurers to obtain repair authorisations while managing costs effectively
* Collaborate with technicians and engineers to ensure repair clarity and quality
* Maintain high standards of quality assurance and customer service throughout the process
Requirements:
* Proven experience as a Vehicle Damage Assessor or Estimator within a busy bodyshop environment
* ATA or IMI accreditation is preferred but not essential
* Familiarity with Audatex estimating software is highly desirable
* Excellent technical knowledge with meticulous attention to detail
* Full UK manual driving licence with minimal points
* Ability to produce proof of Right to Work at interview (passport or birth certificate)
* Willingness to undergo a Basic DBS check
