The GCSE Maths Teacher Role
As a Maths Teacher, you will play a vital role in inspiring and guiding our 16-19 year old students through their GCSE Maths course. You'll create engaging lesson plans tailored to diverse learners. Your expertise and enthusiasm will ensure our students are equipped with the skills and knowledge needed to excel in their Maths GCSEs and develop key math skills for everyday life.
Key Responsibilities Of Our GCSE Maths Teacher
* Undertaking teaching and learning activities, including tutoring, as agreed.
* Devising effective training materials, including online resources.
* Preparing learning materials and conducting assessments and assignments timely.
* Delivering training sessions onsite or at employers’ premises.
* Liaising with staff to ensure high standards of learning.
* Providing effective feedback to clients.
* Administering reports and statistics on student and teaching matters.
* Monitoring student enrolment and success rates, taking remedial actions as needed.
* Contributing to high retention and success rates, meeting or exceeding targets.
Skills and Experience
* Relevant GCSE / Functional Skills / assessment experience.
* Understanding of safeguarding vulnerable groups.
* Level 3 (or equivalent) qualification in related subject.
* Level 3 coaching qualification or willingness to work towards it.
* Strong time management and organizational skills.
* Innovative and creative in meeting learners' needs.
