Job Title: FLT Driver
Location: Ellesmere Port
Pay Rates: £14.66 per hour
Shift Patterns: 4 on 4 off (2 days and 2 nights back-to-back) with first week being just days for extra training.
Barker Ross is currently recruiting for a FLT driver for our client specialising in Paper industry. This is a temporary to permanent contract.
Valid Counterbalance B1 and B2 licence needed, bonus if you have used the clamps.
Duties of the role will include:-
Follow all company SSOW, SOPs and HSE guidelines to ensure that they and those around them are kept safe
Loading of trailers with finished goods in a timely manner
Safe removal of finished goods away from the production lines
Placing components at production lines
Transporting & supplying pallets to production lines
Removal and transport of large bulky items from the factory (for example waste skips and core cages)
Ensuring that equipment is kept in a well-maintained condition, free from damage and ensuring that any damage, faults or malfunctions are to be reported to management immediately
Comply with hygiene, jewellery and uniform procedures to ensure that there is no contamination to the product being produced
Ensure you actively encourage others to comply with Safety & GMP and the clients Values, as well as other company procedures
General cleaning of units, goods out area, pods and yard area
Assist with working on / in the MEZZ area, and any other areas as required
Experience of a production environment and equipment is desirable
