The role involves overseeing the management of Workplace Services contracts, ensuring compliance, efficiency, and alignment with organisational objectives.
These contracts include (but are not limited to) Hard FM, Soft FM, Catering, and Operational Security across the national portfolio. The scope of contracts will adapt to business needs.
The position requires a proactive approach to managing supplier relationships, optimizing performance, and mitigating risks related to contractual obligations and service delivery.
Key Responsibilities
* Strategic Leadership: Lead the development and implementation of strategic initiatives for contract management and delivery. Provide expert advice to senior management on contract-related matters and projects.
* Contract Oversight: Oversee the entire contract lifecycle, ensuring compliance and adherence to contractual and commercial requirements. Monitor contract performance and compliance effectively.
* Relationship Management: Build strong relationships with stakeholders, including contractors and internal teams, to ensure collaboration. Act as the primary contact for major suppliers, resolving issues promptly.
* Risk Management: Identify and assess delivery risks, implementing mitigation strategies and contingency plans.
* Performance Evaluation: Develop metrics to evaluate contract effectiveness. Conduct reviews and audits, providing feedback and driving continuous improvement and financial savings.
* Team Leadership: Manage and develop a team of contract professionals, fostering high performance and ongoing learning. Provide operational leadership and training opportunities.
* Reporting and Analysis: Prepare reports on contract performance for senior management. Analyze data to inform decisions and identify trends.
* Compliance: Ensure activities comply with laws, regulations, and policies. Keep abreast of legislative changes affecting contract management.
