We are hiring experienced HGV Class 1 Tramping Drivers to join our expanding fleet.If you are a dependable driver looking for stability, modern equipment, and to be respected for your work, this role is for you.This role is intended for candidates who live within commuting distance of Warrington.
Occasional on-site presence is required.What We Offer£40,000–£41,000 per year (including all expenses and allowances)Monthly PAYE payModern fleet (Mercedes or MAN trucks)Pension scheme (auto-enrolment)Ongoing training and developmentFree uniform and PPE where applicableSecure on-site parking for personal vehiclesWhat You'll DoCarry out long-haul driving across the UK, including overnight trampingComplete bay-to-bay deliveries only, with no manual handling (drop-and-go)Operate modern, well-maintained vehicles with confidence in navigation and journey planningComply with all road safety rules, driving hours regulations, and company policiesConduct daily vehicle checks and report any defects or issuesUse SNAP accounts and fuel cards to support efficient journeysWork consistent tramping schedules with five consecutive shifts (Sunday–Friday)RequirementsValid UK C+E (Class 1) driving licenceMinimum of 2 years' HGV driving experienceClean licence preferred (up to 6 points accepted; no TT, DR or IN endorsements)Fluency in English preferredGood knowledge of UK road laws, including the Highway Code and drivers' hours regulationsRight to work in the UK with valid supporting documentationSuccessful completion of pre-employment checks, including drug and alcohol testingScheduleDay and night shiftsFive days per week, including some weekendsOvernight tramping requiredReady to Apply?Take the wheel and join a company that truly values its drivers.
