Team Leader – Residential Care for Young People with Disabilities Are you an experienced care professional with a passion for leadership and making a real difference? We’re seeking a Team Leader to oversee and support a dedicated residential care team working with young people with disabilities.
Lead a committed team to deliver high-quality, person-centred care. You will manage day-to-day operations, support staff development, and ensure individual care plans are implemented effectively in a safe, respectful, and stimulating environment.
Supervise and mentor care staff, manage shift duties, and coordinate team efforts
Oversee individual care and development plans for residents
Support young people’s emotional wellbeing, independence, and community involvement
Promote health, safety, and compliance with care standards
Proven experience leading teams in residential or similar care settings
Relevant qualifications, such as NVQ Level 3 in Care, and willingness to achieve assessor qualifications
Strong knowledge of disability issues and care planning processes
Flexibility to work shifts including weekends, bank holidays, and on-call duties
Commitment to maintaining high standards of care and professional development
