Production Manager – Bespoke Interiors (Hotels, Bars & Restaurants)

Role Overview:
The Production Manager will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the workshop and joinery production facility, ensuring all bespoke items are manufactured to the highest standards, on time, and within budget. The role requires strong leadership, planning, and coordination skills, along with a hands-on understanding of the demands and pace of the hospitality fit-out sector.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage the workshop and production teams to meet project timelines
Oversee manufacturing of bespoke joinery items from technical drawings
Coordinate production planning with project managers and design teams
Maintain rigorous quality control throughout the production process
Allocate resources, manage workloads, and monitor productivity
Ensure all H&S procedures are adhered to within the workshop
Troubleshoot production issues and implement efficiency improvements
Liaise with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials
Essential Requirements:
Proven experience managing production in a joinery or interiors environment
Strong track record delivering bespoke joinery for hotels, bars, and restaurants
Ability to read and interpret complex technical and fabrication drawings
Excellent planning, organisation, and communication skills
Strong leadership and people management capability
Understanding of quality and compliance in high-spec interiors
Desirable:
Knowledge of CNC machinery, AutoCAD, or other production software
Formal joinery or construction-related qualifications
Experience working with solid surfaces, veneers, and specialist finishes
