We’re looking for a passionate Sous Chef to join our dynamic kitchen team at the Design Museum. This is a rare chance to work with an award-winning menu in a creative, fast-paced environment that celebrates fresh, seasonal cooking.
You'll be working closely with a highly skilled Head Chef and will have the opportunity to shape and lead a motivated team while delivering excellence on every plate.
What you'll do:Lead the team during service and maintain high culinary standards
Support daily kitchen operations alongside the Head Chef
Inspire and train junior chefs to excel
Help develop menus using fresh, seasonal ingredients
Uphold food hygiene and safety standards
What we're looking for:Proven experience as a Sous Chef or strong Junior Sous Chef ready to step up
A natural team leader who thrives in a busy service environment
Creative flair and passion for using fresh, high-quality ingredients
Confident in stock control and kitchen organisation
A team player who takes pride in every dish
