VANRATH is delighted to partner with a leading concrete manufacturer to recruit a Field Sales Representative for a territory in NI (and possibly border counties) to join their talented team.
Salary/Benefits
A generous remuneration package is offered to attract top talent, ranging from £30,000 - £35,000 plus commission. The role includes a range of benefits, such as a company car or allowance. This position is primarily field-based with administrative work done at home or in the office.
The Ideal Person
* Previous field-based sales experience within a construction environment.
* Proven track record of achieving or exceeding targets.
* Target-driven with a proactive attitude, business acumen, and a desire to succeed.
Responsibilities
* Contribute to the planning and development of sales, marketing, and business strategies in Northern Ireland.
* Identify new business opportunities, follow up on leads, and generate new prospects effectively.
* Develop customer relationships and manage the sales cycle to finalise sales.
* Maintain a database of customers and prospects, implementing a simple CRM system.
* Support new product/service development and market research, providing customer feedback.
* Participate in promotional activities, exhibitions, and brand awareness initiatives.
* Demonstrate product technicalities to potential customers.
* Discuss pricing and delivery with customers and coordinate with sales processing teams.
* Provide management with market intelligence, competitor profiles, and analysis.
* Recommend business development strategies and marketability improvements.
* Assist with credit control when needed.
* Perform other duties as appropriate to the role.
