Responsibilities
* Ensuring all content created reflects the client’s tone of voice and brand value
* Participating in content brainstorming sessions
* Coordinating content marketing activities with the in-house and external PR teams
* Proofing and editing content
* Creating detailed project briefs for copywriters and designers
* Planning, writing and outreaching guest posts with guidance from the SEO team
* Supporting the digital marketing team with project organisation
* Overseeing and executing email marketing strategies, working with the creative team to create professional templates and eshots
* Conduct in-depth content audits using tools such as SEMrush, Google Analytics, Ahrefs and more
* Working with the Head of Digital to create and deliver data-driven digital marketing strategies
* Helping project managers and the New Business team with ideas for business proposals and pitches
* Competitor and market analysis
* Support with content marketing strategies
* Keeping up to date with current digital trends
* Working alongside the digital marketing team to ensure the emails integrate with websites
* Produce inspiring and engaging copy suitable for digital communications
* Engage in link-building outreach
* Record and analyse email marketing statistics, provide regular campaign performance reports, keeping documentation up to date for the senior management team
* Gather, analyse and interpret continuous intelligence including industry trends and competitor activity.
* Performing administrative tasks to ensure the functionality of marketing activities
* Employing online marketing analytics to gather information from digital channels
* Updating databases, spreadsheets and plans
* Creating and uploading copy and images for the organisation’s website
* Research new online media opportunities that may benefit the business
Experience, Qualifications and Skills Required
* Experience using email marketing tools, particularly Mailchimp and Hubspot
* Enthusiastic and capable of working within a team and on your own
* Fluent written and spoken English is essential
* Knowledge of and genuine interest in digital marketing
* Excellent content writing skills
* Impeccable attention to detail with the ability to spot gaps
* Strong analytical skills
* Proactive and professional ‘can-do’ attitude to work and continuous professional development
* Well organised, flexible and able to work in a fast-paced environment
* Willingness to learn other digital marketing areas
* Ability to create clear design briefs
* The ability to take on new knowledge, software and ideas as well as being able to develop your own ideas
