About the Role: This Bookkeeper position offers an excellent opportunity to develop your career within the financial services sector. As our new Bookkeeper, you'll be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records for our funds and trusts portfolio whilst working closely with our experienced financial services team.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain comprehensive bookkeeping records for funds and trusts clients
VAT preparation and filing across our financial services client base
Assist with preparation of basic sets of accounts for financial services entities
Support month-end and year-end processes within our funds and trusts operations
Liaise with external accountants and regulatory bodies as required
Essential Requirements:
Proven experience as a Book-keeper with VAT preparation and filing experience
Strong understanding of financial services regulations and compliance requirements
Ideally commenced AAT studies or similar professional qualification
Experience preparing basic sets of accounts desirable
Ideally proficient in Xero software
