The Role:
Due to continued growth, we’re looking for a hands-on, self-motivated Field Service Supervisor to lead service activities across multiple AD sites. This is a key role within our operations team, responsible for supervising on-site works, ensuring health and safety compliance, and supporting project delivery across maintenance and upgrade programs.
Key Responsibilities:
* Supervise and coordinate day-to-day service operations at multiple AD facilities
* Oversee field technicians and contractors to ensure work is completed safely and efficiently
* Support maintenance, commissioning, and troubleshooting of AD plant equipment
* Assist in project planning and delivery for upgrades, refurbishments, and installations
* Ensure adherence to HSE standards and site-specific protocols
* Liaise with project managers, engineers, and clients to communicate progress and resolve issues
* Complete accurate reporting, documentation, and service records
Essential Requirements:
* Proven experience in a supervisory or senior technician role within Anaerobic Digestion or a related renewable energy sector
* Experience in Engineering (Holding a NVQ Level 3 or above)
* Strong mechanical and/or electrical aptitude
* Full UK driving licence
* Willingness to travel regularly to sites across the region
Desirable Qualifications:
* Project management experience (formal qualifications beneficial)
* SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) certification
* Knowledge of PLC/SCADA systems
* Experience with process optimisation and plant performance monitoring
