Shifts: 4 on / 4 off rotation - 12-hour shifts ( 6am-6pm/6pm-6am )

About the Role
Mitie is seeking vigilant and proactive professionals to join our Alarm Receiving Centre (ARC) in Lurgan. As an ARC Operator, you'll be responsible for monitoring security systems, responding to alarms, and ensuring prompt communication with emergency responders and clients.
This role operates in a 24/7 control-room environment where accuracy, teamwork, and a strong sense of responsibility are key. With multiple shift patterns available, this is a great opportunity for those looking to develop a long-term career in security technology and monitoring.
Key Responsibilities
5. Monitor alarms, CCTV, and access-control systems across client sites.
6. Respond to activations and incoming calls in line with company KPIs.
7. Contact emergency services and keyholders as required.
8. Record all incidents and actions taken accurately on internal systems.
9. Maintain situational awareness and follow escalation procedures.
10. Support handovers and assist in ensuring continuity between shifts.
11. Contribute to maintaining a secure, compliant and professional ARC operation.
What We're Looking For
12. Experience in an alarm receiving, CCTV monitoring, or security control-room role (preferred but not essential).
13. Excellent attention to detail and ability to stay focused during long shifts.
14. Strong verbal communication and written reporting skills.
15. Confident using computer systems and monitoring software.
16. Eligible to work in the UK and pass BS7858 security screening.
17. Flexibility to workdays, nights or late shifts on a 4-on / 4-off rotation.
