Teacher - Enhanced Resource Provision
Location: Withernsea, East Riding of Yorkshire

Salary: MPS/UPS; £31,650 - £49,084 per annum

GSL Education are seeking committed, nurturing, and skilled Teacher for Enhanced Resource Provision to work at an Ofsted rated “Good” school based in Withernsea starting in September 2025.
The successful candidate will work closely with the SENCO, Learning Support Assistants, and wider teaching staff to ensure that students within the ERP are accessing a tailored curriculum, enabling them to thrive both academically and emotionally.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver personalised and inclusive teaching to students with a wide range of SEND, primarily within the ERP setting and, where appropriate, in the mainstream classroom.
* Plan and implement engaging and differentiated lessons that meet students’ EHCP targets and support their academic, emotional, and social development.
* Work collaboratively with the SENCO, therapists, external agencies, and families to develop and review individual education and behaviour plans.
* Assess and monitor progress using both academic data and developmental milestones, maintaining accurate and insightful records.
* Lead and coordinate small groups and 1:1 sessions as required, utilising evidence-based strategies to support SEND learners.
Requirements:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
* Proven experience of working with students with SEND, particularly Autism, communication difficulties, and MLD.
* Knowledge of current SEND practices, inclusive teaching strategies, and relevant legislation.
* Strong understanding of behaviour management techniques.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
* Hold an Enhanced DBS registered to the update service or be willing to apply for a new one with GSL Education.
