Job Title: Coking Plant Shift Mechanical Fitter

Worley is currently recruiting for a Coking Plant Shift Mechanical Fitter for a fixed-term contract.
We are looking for a highly motivated candidate to join our onshore team at Phillips66 Refinery.
Key Aims and Objectives:
* Assist in ensuring all Projects/Company HSEQ goals are achieved and where possible exceeded
* Effective liaison with Client and/or Sub-Contractor / Vendor Representatives
* Implement a continuous improvement philosophy across all Mechanical activities, delivering best practices at all times
* Provide support to the Client’s Mechanical Team
Primary Duties:
* Un-heading and Heading up the coke drums
* Assist with Coke Drum drilling and routine operations on the drilling deck if/when required
* Carry out routines (Equipment Operating & Maintenance Plans - EOMPS) on the coke drum equipment
* Jet cleaning coke drum bottom heads if/when required
* General area housekeeping as directed by the Coke Drum Controller
* Demonstrate visible safety leadership by example and communication with teams
* Actively participate in all Company and Projects safety initiatives
* Continuously review/refer to Client’s working procedures and risk assessments to ensure execution as required; escalate concerns to P66
* Ensure all Mechanical work meets the required standards and all drawings, specifications, inspections, certifications, and Company QA systems are adhered to
* Perform tool checks to ensure tooling is in good condition prior to use
* Lead and participate in tool-box talks when required
* Liaise with site Control of Work personnel to ensure work permits are issued and issues resolved
Qualifications & Certification:
* NVQ / City & Guilds Level 3 Mechanical Fitter (or equivalent)
* Experience within Heavy Industry
* Performing Authority experience
* Machinery / pipework alignment and installation
* Preventative maintenance
Preferred Experience:
* Experience in similar roles within Oil and Gas Projects
* Proven track record of achieving goals while maintaining high HSEQ standards
* Knowledge of O&G related HSEQ safe working practices and procedures
* Team working skills
* Ability to interact effectively with Management and Client representatives
* Knowledge of Permit to Work systems
Work Pattern:
The employee will work according to the Humber Refinery 24/7 12-hour shift pattern.
