Business Development Manager – UK & Ireland
Location: UK (with travel to Ireland and neighbouring markets)
Overview:
We are looking for a Business Development Manager to drive growth across the UK and Ireland, with an eye on opportunities in neighbouring markets. This role involves identifying new business opportunities, managing existing client relationships, and supporting the expansion of Tooling Intelligence’s presence in the manufacturing industry. The ideal candidate will have strong industry knowledge, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record in business development.
Key Responsibilities:
* Identify and pursue new business opportunities to support growth.
* Research and analyse markets to uncover opportunities in the UK, Ireland, and nearby regions.
* Understand industry trends and customer needs to guide strategic decisions.
* Developing and maintaining strong relationships with new and existing clients, partners, and other stakeholders.
* Represent the company at networking events, conferences, and meetings.
* Develop and implement effective sales strategies.
* Prepare and deliver professional sales presentations and proposals.
* Lead contract negotiations in line with company policies.
* Work closely with internal teams to ensure alignment and support business goals.
Skills & Experience:
* Strong knowledge of tooling and the manufacturing industry.
* Strong knowledge of inventory and asset management requirements and solutions
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
* Skilled in market research and data analysis.
* Proficient with CRM systems and Microsoft Office.
* Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently or in a team.
* Willing to travel within the UK, Ireland, and neighbouring regions.
