An innovative global engineering company is looking for a Field Service Engineer to support the installation, commissioning and ongoing service of advanced high-speed printing and converting equipment. Please note that this position involves extensive UK & international travel. This is an exciting, customer-facing role for a technically strong engineer who enjoys travel, problem-solving and working on complex machinery in real-world production environments. Whilst the organisation are based on the south coast, successful candidates can be based anywhere in the UK. The Role: You will deliver high-quality field service support for sophisticated machinery, working directly with customers to ensure maximum equipment performance and uptime. Key responsibilities include: * Diagnosing and resolving planned and unplanned maintenance issues * Installing and commissioning advanced flexographic and digital presses * Carrying out scheduled servicing and machine inspections * Supporting machine testing and acceptance activities * Identifying opportunities for spare parts, upgrades and service contracts * Contributing to improvements in service processes and documentation What We’re Looking For: * HNC, Degree or equivalent experience in electrical or mechanical engineering * At least 3 years’ experience in a technical engineering role * Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills * Excellent communication and customer-facing ability * Self-motivated, reliable and able to work independently in the field * Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel extensively in the UK and overseas Why Apply?
