What do you need to succeed:
Our Hospitality Assistants support our care teams to provide exceptional hospitality services, supporting the Head Chef, Reception Teams, Housekeeping, and Lifestyles Team. This is a crucial position, central to the lives of the people we support and their families, so good people skills are essential, alongside strong organizational skills. If you have previous experience in hospitality and an affinity for care, this is the role for you.
Key responsibilities include:
* Assisting with meal service in resident rooms or dining rooms.
* Refilling water/drink jugs regularly in resident rooms.
* Setting up and clearing tables before and after lunch service.
* Maintaining temperature records of fridges and service stations.
* Maintaining the Bistro to ensure a professional, fully stocked offering.
* Attending to residents' non-care needs, such as opening/closing curtains, changing TV channels, etc.
Qualifications and attributes:
* Previous experience in a similar role within a luxurious setting.
* 'Can do' attitude and willingness to support residents with high-quality service.
* Customer-facing experience, including building relationships with internal & external stakeholders.

* Reliable and punctual.

* Professional appearance and standards.
* Understanding of sensitivities working within a care home environment.
