We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Religious Education Teacher to join our vibrant secondary school community in Blackpool from September 2026. Key Responsibilities
* Plan and deliver engaging, well-structured RE lessons across KS3 and KS4
* Create a positive, inclusive, and respectful classroom environment
* Support pupils’ moral, spiritual, and cultural development
* Assess, track, and report on student progress
* Contribute to curriculum development within the Humanities department
* Participate in whole‑school pastoral responsibilities and enrichment activities
* Uphold school policies, safeguarding standards, and professional expectations
About You
The ideal candidate will:
* Hold QTS or be on track to achieve QTS by the start date
* Have strong subject knowledge in Religious Education
* Be committed to promoting tolerance, curiosity, and critical thinking
* Demonstrate excellent communication and classroom management skills
* Be driven, reflective, and eager to contribute to a supportive team
* Value the importance of inclusive learning and strong pastoral care

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
