About Casper
Casper was invented in 2010 by Acuity Insights co‑founders Dr. Kelly Dore and Oncology Professor Harold Reiter to improve the admissions process at McMaster University's School of Medicine. It is a situational judgment test that evaluates social intelligence, professionalism, and problem‑solving skills through open‑ended questions. Since 2014, over 1 million applicants have taken Casper, and last year alone 150,000 participants completed the test across 90 live sessions, with raters evaluating over 2 million responses.
